lombardi ranch the sequel (just a few weeks late!)

Ok Ok so I know I have been terrible at blogging lately.  Here are a few reasons why:
1.) Dathan was gone for almost 6 weeks and I was basically a single mom.
2.) I have had about a gazillion photo shoots (which is a good great thing!) that I have spent all of my free moments editing.
3.) When I wasn't changing poopy diapers or cleaning up puke or making dinner or folding laundry or editing pictures or putting kids to bed I wanted to VEG OUT and watch tv.
4.) It's kind of a bummer to spend a bunch of time working on a blog (resizing & uploading pictures, putting the pictures on the blog & typing out a post) and get 0 comments.  Or maybe 1, 2 tops.  So if you read this, please feel free to comment and let me know!  My love language is words of affirmation ;) ha!
5.) I don't really have a 5th reason.  I just wanted 5 points.  So my 5th point is sharing my post:

For awhile there I felt like I was living at Lombardi Ranch.  I mean, I was there one Saturday and did this shoot, this shoot, and this one.  Then I was there the next Saturday and did this shoot then spent the rest of the day with family & friends there.  So when Pastor Troy announced that the October family outing for our Marriage Matters class was going to Lombardi Ranch, I just had to chuckle.  So for the third Saturday in a row, I went to Lombardi Ranch.

The boys, once again, had a BLAST riding the horses.  So cute.  I think maybe because they were around them so much at Dathan's parent's house in Alabama.

Our whole class went on the train ride together.  It was fun.  Here is a pretty close up shot of me & the boys (I had my 50mm lens on my camera & we were sitting in the same train car).

This day at Lombardi Ranch was much cooler than the last two Saturdays, which was wonderful.  What was not so wonderful was the amount of people there- THOUSANDS.  It was SO crowded.  And although we were with my marriage matters class, I was watching the boys myself & it kind of stressed me out.  Sean wanted to run one way & Nolan wanted to run the other, and I was so nervous I would lose one of them in the crowd (more so Nolan, who just wanders.  Sean doesn't really like to be too far away from me).  So poor Nolan spent a lot of the day in the stroller.  Sorry bud.  He was happy to climb on the antique fire engine though!

And Sean was happy jumping off of the hay bales!

And Nolan was NOT so happy when I went to put him back in the stroller.

Sean and one of his "best friends," Taryn.  I love that they get along so well, because Taryn's mom Candice & I have been friends since we were in the nursery together at church as babies.  Literally.  These two are a crack up together.  Two of the same exact personalities but in different genders ;)

We only stayed a couple of hours because it was so incredibly crowded.  We all left and went to Vincenzo's pizza for dinner (which is actually only a couple blocks away from my grandparent's house).  That part was more relaxing for me :)  I love our Marriage Matters class because we are all like a family, and always have so much fun when we're together.  I am so thankful & blessed to have them in our lives!

I know all too well about the comment thing. I spend my time writing post only to get a comment from my mom.
So I have been trying to comment on all the blogs I read. It's not easy, I read a lot of blogs and have a 17 month old.
Anyway back to your post, I love your pictures. I don't know how you did that crazy weekend with 2 boys all by yourself! You must be a Saint.
Keep on blogging there are people lurking.
