sometimes i creat things: part 2

there was a week back in january that i was in the mood to make pillows. now, i will be the first to admit that i am not the best seamstress in the world. i did not grow up sewing (or with a mom who sewed) and i have never taken a home ec class. so, the majority of what i do sew is what i have taught myself. i did learn how to use a sewing machine when i was 19 years old. a friend & i were bored one summer and decided to make quilts, so she showed me how to use one. but besides that, it's all been trial & error for me.

why am i telling you that? who knows!

anyways, when i was in the mood to make pillows i made this for sean. he loves to cuddle with it when he sleeps, and i love that!

and i made this pillow for our sweet friend's son's first birthday. i actually really enjoyed making this pillow, and want to make one for every birthday party now! whether or not that will happen is still up in the air ;)
