pregnancy update!!

I realized (thanks to your help, Nancy!) that I have hardly said anything about how this pregnancy is going!  So, I suppose 34 weeks along is as good of time as any to update you ;)

I have felt GREAT this pregnancy.  I mean, really great!  Besides the random hormonal swings (read: I get irritated easily sometimes) and heartburn (nothing a Tums can't fix) this pregnancy has been smooth sailing.  I didn't even start wearing maternity pants until I was about 18 weeks along (I was 10 weeks with Nolan when I had to bust them out!).  So far I have only gained 16lbs (the least amount I have ever gained at this point in pregnancy) and am trying really hard to not go too far up from here.  I am measuring right on schedule, and my dr. has been monitoring me to make sure that we won't have another Nolan sized newborn (Nolan was 10lbs & 23in).

With both Sean & Nolan I was VERY swollen.  At about 20 weeks my ankles & feet swelled up and they literally did not go back down until a couple weeks after the boys were born.  I am not exaggerating.  This time, the only time my feet have swollen was when I was working at RFKC and running around all day.  What a difference!  I didn't think my other pregnancies were bad, but this one definitely feels better now that I know there is a difference!

I have been having a lot of Braxton Hicks, and they have been painful.  I do seem more sore this time around, but I'm sure a lot of it has to do with this being my 3rd pregnancy :)

I have been REALLY bad about taking belly pictures of myself.  This is the most recent one, and it was about a month ago.  I honestly don't think I have gotten much bigger since then.

Also, about a month ago we were given a 4D ultrasound of our little guy!  Look how cute he is!  I cannot wait to see him & hold him & kiss him.  We were shocked at how much he looks like Nolan in this picture!

We had a name picked out, but decided to keep it a secret.  It's a good thing, because we have been second guessing it.  Ha!  So, my brother has named the baby Professor X & my small group girls call him Mystery.  I keep joking that we will be those parents at the hospital still trying to figure out a name for their kid.  I hope not, that's one thing I don't want to stress about!

Ha! I should have taken that approach when sharing noah's name. I changed it like 4 times.

So glad to hear everything is going so well! Can't wait to see pictures of the little guy.

Do you mind sharing what his name was going to be?
