SUN FUZZIES!!!!!!!!!!!

now, you may be asking yourself "what is a sun fuzzy?"
do not feel bad, i was asking myself the same thing.
you see, the other day sean & i went outside to enjoy the beautiful weather while nolan was taking a nap. as soon as we stepped foot on the deck sean's eyes lit up and he started yelling "SUN FUZZIES MOMMY!! SUN FUZZIES!!!"
i asked sean what they were and he gave me this look as if, of course, i should know the answer!
he ran down the steps off the deck and showed me a sun fuzzy...

of course! what was i thinking??? everyone knows that those are definitely not dandelions, but they are, in fact, sun fuzzies!

so we did what everyone does with sun fuzzies

they were everywhere. we had a lot of fun running around the yard trying to find the biggest ones and seeing who could blow them the hardest. there were a ton of HUGE ones underneath the deck. sean's little hands were just big enough to reach inside and pull them out.

i couldn't help but laugh at the shape sean's mouth became whenever he was blowing them

now this is a fun way to look for sun fuzzies ;)

everything is so green right now. one of the great things about living in the country. it's beautiful. i think that the vibrant green of spring and the bright colors of fall make it just beautiful out here (at least twice a year! lol)

the dog did not want to hunt sun fuzzies with us. he wanted to lay in the shade where it was cool.

i want to encourage everyone to take a little time today and hunt some sun fuzzies... or at least find some fun & beauty in the simple things of your every day life :)
